Ilmol-Mabdaa (Science of Origin) is a quarterly academic peer-reviewed journal concerned with metaphysics and divine wisdom. The journal works toward the development of a progressive epistemological and philosophical purview on ontology, and aims to present theorizations on two inseparable metaphysical and epistemological fields of thought: knowledge of divine actions, and knowledge of divine providence in the world of mankind and within the universe. The epistemological theorization on these two fields falls in the forefront of priorities which contribute to a revival founded on monotheism as a guiding principle for acquiring knowledge of the realities of the seen and unseen worlds.
\nIlmol-Mabdaa seeks to revive reflection and generate in-depth studies on major intellectual, spiritual and ethical subject matters which collectively form the great dilemma of modern human civilization. To achieve this, the journal strives to explore the unrevealed theoretical and practical aspects of the disciplines of divine wisdom and the distinct metaphysical guarantees embedded in their spiritual worlds.<\/p>\n

The choice of a name for this journal, Ilmol-Mabdaa, emerged from an awareness of the need to choose a name which represents the content, and where the essence signifies the identity and purpose. For this reason, we deemed it appropriate to grant the journal a name that is in harmony with its epistemological design and which distinguishes it from the preoccupations of the lower mind, particularly the lower mind\u2019s concern with the phenomena of existence and negligence of their originator. What we have coined as \u201cpost-metaphysics\u201d is a term for an ontology supported by revelation, reason and divinely-endowed wisdom. While First Philosophy paved the way for an epistemological division when it confined itself to the borders of a concerned inquiry of the true nature and meaning of existence, post-metaphysics has followed a different course by heightening the activity of the intellect to discover the secret of existence and explore its countless levels.<\/p>\n

Ilmol-mabdaa, science of origin, is a discipline which aims to clarify the divine action manifest in the origin and ending of the world. Such an understanding cannot be achieved without insight and assistance, for one who knows the origin discovers the originator, and one who discovers the originator realizes the purpose of the beginning and the end. Therefore, ilmol-mabdaa is not merely a visualization of a concept which requires a real-life example, but it is a discipline for gaining knowledge of the hidden and manifest realities of existence, and for reflecting on the Uniquely Sublime by following the guidance of revelatory sciences, rational knowledge and inner disclosures. Thus, ilmol-mabdaa, with its metaphysical and epistemological concerns, mirrors the features, characteristics and purposes of reality.
